On Farraway Farm we farm the view! We also have sheep, horses and cattle (bring carrots if you want the horses to love you). And sometimes, when the servals have not been on the hunt, we have chickens. We often see wild eland that have come down from Parks Board land to drink from our river, baboons and reed buck. Most nights we hear jackals howling but we don't often see them. Our farm is 90 ha and has a circumference of about 5 km, so bring your walking shoes.
Also bring your swimming costume because we have a dam and over a km of the Mzimude River. But, most importantly, bring your camera! Our farm neighbours Parks Board land which borders Lesotho. We have two cottages on our farm, luxurious Hilltop Cottage and small Shepherds Cottage. The cottages are about 350 m apart and both are fenced and pet friendly. Inside they both have wood burning fires, electric blankets, heaters and satellite TV.

Two en-suite bedrooms. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other has two single beds. The single beds can be converted to a king size bed, alternatively a third single bed can be added to this bedroom. We provide bed linen (percale cotton), duvets, spare blankets, electric blankets and heaters. Two bathrooms, one with a shower and a bath and the other has an extra large shower. We provide towels, soap and hair dryers.
